Providing police and coast guard new force, Extended Education Training Center of CPU (EETC) started the freshman-training course for 42th Term 2 section police sergeants and 6th term 1 section cost guard sergeants. In these 40 members, the average job tenure for the 42th term 2 section police is 12 years and for the 6th term 1 section coast guard is 28 years. They were well experienced, passing the competitive exams then now starting the training for 4 or 10 months in CPU.
Considering the importance of training and COVID prevention, each member takes their temperature while entering the campus, been investigated the contact history and travel history, completing the TOCC report form. In training period, members should take temperatures daily and report regularly, maintaining hand hygiene, wearing the mask at all times, sanitizing the microphones and increasing the distance between seats. Members living in the same bedroom also requested to use alternate seating in a nine-square division, using exclusive bathrooms. To reduce the risk of cluster infection, members go to the restaurant collectively while only two members sit in one table, which were equipped with checkerboards.
Besides, we planned a 3 to 5-day freshman-training course to train drill, making members become real team workers and stern in discipline. Through effective and fulfilling course, helping the members to fit in at school as soon as possible. Although the members got out of practice at the beginning of the drill course, they kept vigorous, finally acted with great smoothness after being strictly demanded. Everyone acts perfectly, belting out songs of police in the final test. The Professor of EETC Tyan-Muh Tsai expected all the members keep going and remember the school motto ”Honesty” as the principle of life and be honest to everyone and everything to complete all the training in CPU. As always, EETC keeps our direction, carrying out mental, jural and practical skill training, providing police and coast guard new force to meet the expectations of the country.
