Nothing Stops ! The Training Of New Police Cadres !

publish date : 2022-11-11
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the 3rd grade Civil Service Special Examination for police officers (CSSE g-3) in 2021 was delayed for three months. The examination was postponed from June 2021 to September 2021. Enrollment and admission training for general module of CSSE g-3, who passed their examination in 2022, postponed from the first half of 2022 January to March 25th, 2022, officially started from then.
In order to follow the government's epidemic prevention policy while taking into account the schedule, education quality and training quality in each class, Extended Education Training Center of CPU (EETC) clearly stated via enrollment notification: a certificate of negative COVID-19 test results taken within 3 days before enrollment (PCR test or hospital rapid test both acceptable). Those who take rapid test by themselves should attach a video of the sampling process. On enrollment day, those who have not completed self-testing before entering CPU must arrive at school in advance for testing.
Among the general module of CSSE g-3 who enrolled on March 25th, 2022, 13 cadets have completed their enrollment. In 9 of the 13 cadets have been vaccinated with 3 doses of vaccine and confirmed with negative virus test results.
In order to ensure new cadets to quickly be familiar with the school, adapt to community life, understand the connotation of education and cooperate with epidemic prevention measures, an 8-day freshman training start from 25th March to 1st April, which was accompanied with the final acceptance test for all to pass.
In order to intensify epidemic prevention in this period, epidemic prevention is the priority during both training and in-class activities. In addition to measuring body temperature at the school gate, surveys about contact history and travel history as well as the COVID-19 Patient Risk Assessment Forms (TOCC Form) were both required and filled. Furthermore, the opening ceremony of the training session was cancelled, too. Cadets will measure their body temperature and report daily, wash hands frequently, wear masks throughout the class, disinfect microphones regularly, increase the distance between seats, carry out checkerboard seating, prohibit conversations during meals and use partitions to lower the risk of cluster infection.
Currently, the cadets have officially attended classes and adapted to the pace of school life. The epidemic alert is still intense, and the number of domestic confirmed cases has not decreased. The cadets are still cautious with various epidemic prevention measures and dare not slack off. The cadets of this echelon have been police in service before they entered CPU. They cherished the priceless opportunities for advanced-education. They have dedicated attitude in class and great interaction with teachers. Although the current epidemic is severe, the teachers and cadets of CPU are maintaining a cautious and correct attitude towards various epidemic prevention measures. We hope that CPU can conquer the difficulties and hold the line of defensing the epidemic in order to complete the training schedule. As always, continue the training of police cadres to meet the expectations of the country.
