According to interpretation No. 760, the "42th Term 4th Section Police Assistant Class" which is the last training class for those who were admitted to the Civil Service Special Examination for General Police Officers before 2011, started on February 16, 2022. Total of 7 cadets (average age 48, average length of service 27 years) completed the registration process.
Epidemic prevention is the priority during the orientation camp and training class. Besides taking the cadets' temperature before they entered our campus, we also gave them COVID-19 rapid tests, checked their contact history and travel history, asked them to fill out the TOCC assessment form, and canceled the opening ceremony. To reduce the risk of cluster infection, the cadets took their temperature every day, washed their hands regularly, wore masks in class, disinfected the microphones frequently, increased the distance between their seats, and avoided talking while eating.
In order to train the cadets' demeanor, team spirit and discipline, Extended Education Training Center held the Orientation Camp for 3 days and helped them to adapt to the daily routine by designing simple, effective lessons. From the cadets' spirit and attention, it could be seen that they cherished the chances to return campus, even though they’re a little older. Under strict training, their performance got better. We believed that they will become excellent police officers after finish this training class.
