Requiring to return school during the outbreak of Omicron variant of the coronavirus, prompted all EETC staffs and cadets to take autonomous rapid test on the returning day after New Year’s holiday. On the February 7, 2022 (Monday) 8 to 12 o’clock in the morning, classrooms in the Teaching Building were used as the venue where cadets took their rapid tests. All the cadets were processed in batches as they check their temperature at the school gate. Afterwards, the lieutenants let in the cadets to get their rapid test kits. One person one classroom is the policy, and not until the results of the rapid tests were negative, can the cadet leave the classroom. In addition, the school health center provided epidemic prevention materials, assisted on the scene and helped reporting cases to CDC if needed. After the whole morning working on rapid tests, all the personnel and cadets in EETC were all negative on the test, and the test venue was thoroughly sanitized. To ensure a care-free environment, EETC carried out epidemic prevention measures carefully to attain the goal.
