publish date : 2022-04-18
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Civil Service Special Examination for police officers (Grades 3) and the training in 2021 was delayed for three months. The examination was postponed from June 2021 to September 2021. Ultimately, the training started on 14th March, 2022.
In order to collaborate with the government's epidemic prevention policy and take into account the schedule and quality of education and training in each class, Extended Education Training Center of CPU (EETC) clearly stated that a certificate of negative COVID-19 virus testing results taken within 3 days before entering(PCR test or hospital rapid test both acceptable) in the registration instructions. Those who do rapid test should attach a sampling video. On registration day, those who have not completed self-testing before entering CPU must come to the school for testing in advance.
On March 14, 2022, the new training session, including 43 cadets of the police team and 13 cadets of firefighter team, was started. Totally, there were 56 cadets completed the registration.
All trainees have completed the third dose of vaccine before entering the school, and the COVID-19 virus testing results on the registration day were all negative.
In order to ensure new cadets to be familiar with the school environment quickly, adapt to group life, understand the connotation of education, and cooperate with relevant epidemic prevention measures, a 5-day freshman training will be implemented from 14th March to 18th March, which were required to pass
through final test. In order to intensify epidemic prevention in this period, epidemic prevention is the priority during the training. In addition to measuring body temperature at the school gate, investigations on contact history and travel history are also carried out.
The assessment of infectious diseases and epidemic prevention (TOCC) were also done. Furthermore, the opening ceremony of the training session was cancelled, either. Cadets will measure their body temperature and report every day. Wash hands frequently, wear masks throughout the class, sterilized microphones constantly, increase the distance between seats, use checkerboard seating, prohibit conversations during meals and add partitions to reduce the risk of cluster infection.
Currently, the cadets have officially attended classes and adapted to the pace of school life. The epidemic alert is still intense, and the number of domestic confirmed cases has not decreased. The cadets are still cautious with various epidemic prevention measures and dare not slack off. The cadets of this echelon have been police in service before they entered CPU. They cherished the priceless opportunities for advanced-education. They have dedicated attitude in class and great interaction with teachers. Although the current epidemic is severe, the teachers and cadets of CPU are maintaining a cautious and correct attitude towards various epidemic prevention measures. We hope that CPU can conquer the difficulties and hold the line of defensing the epidemic in order to complete the training schedule. As always, continue the training of police cadres to meet the expectations of the country.
